All training conducted by CARS is eligible for IDPH CME credits. You do not need to be a member to attend CARS trainings, although in some cases a cost is associated.

The Memorial EMS System updated protocols can be found at the links below. All members of the Chapin Area Rescue Squad have passed practical and written exams for the transition into the Memorial EMS System.
This is a 56-hour certification course. The above link opens a sample course outline. There are no EMR courses in Chapin scheduled at this time.
This is a 180-hour certification course. The above link opens a sample course outline. No classes are planned for 2021 in the Village of Chapin. If you are interested in taking the course, please contact the Village Hall.

The Chapin Area Rescue Squad was formed in 2007 and provides BLS transport Emergency Medical Services, with field upgradable ALS, for the Village of Chapin, Concord and surrounding rural area. The rescue squad is an all volunteer agency, and always looking for new members.
